Umbrella: 'Seeing Red'

This week, I chose to use the prompt of "umbrella" for the photography theme challenge at Delightful Aberrations. My friend, Miseria Van Dahl, once again helped me with the pictures by being in them (thank you!).<3 div="" style="text-align: justify;">

Photography - Absence...

'Absence of Life'

For Week 9 of the Delightful Aberrations' photography challenge I chose the theme "absence" from the list. The photos do have a vague concept behind them, with the figure being the personification of absence after death, or "beyond the veil". For this reason, I chose to have the figure out of focus throughout.

I used natural light for the outdoor shots, an energy saving light bulb to achieve the yellowish/sepia-toned light, and LED fairy lights coiled up in a glass bowl to get the green/blue lighting, inside. The only editing I did this time was to edit the levels slightly on '...Knowledge' and '...Light'.
