Inktober, Day 19 & A song as a picture

I woke up knowing that I wanted to draw something with bees in, on the 19th (and so, for Day 19 of Inktober), but wasn't sure what. So I turned to the music of Dvar for some inspiration, since apparently they don't write their music, but are given all of it through dreams by a giant bee being, also named Dvar. They don't always specify that it's a bee, but they have a lot of bee-themed art on their albums. I think it worked!

This also serves as theme number 116: A song as a picture, on the 365 Days of Art list. The song is 'Lyarrah', though I was listening to various songs by Dvar.

Last week was the Week 10 photography challenge at Delightful Aberrations. I chose the prompts "fire" and "oral" from the list of words. These photos were self-portraits that I took using a Canon 750D, in candlelight. The angle was so disgustingly close due to having to hold the camera in one hand and the candle in the other, but I didn't really mind it in the end. Enjoy my aenemic self, haha.

365 Days of Art: The Five Senses

315. The five senses.

The Five Senses is the second of today's 365 Days of Art pieces; this time, it's a digital painting. I felt like experimenting with a different style to my usual, so the colours are more muted and the lines are a little softer. Of course, there is still an eyeball and a tongue! ;P
